Once you've registered for a free account, just enter the projects you're working on, along with client information like billing address and notes you need. Then, when you're ready to buckle down just enter what task you're starting and assign it to a project.

The built-in timer keeps track of the cumulative time you're working; just start it up, minimize the browser window, and get on with what you're doing. When you've completed the task or just want to take a break, click the timer's stop button. When you're ready to resume, the timer picks up right where you left off.
