JustBeamIt Makes P2P File Transfer Easy

JustBeamIt is a beta service that makes transferring files a snap!

Drag and drop a file, < 2GB in size, into the drop zone (box with highlighted border). A link will show that you can send to share the file, and you should see the message "waiting for recipient..."

Once your recipient starts downloading the file, the progress will start moving. Do NOT close the page at any point until the transfer is complete, as this will stop the transfer. JustBeamIt relies on you keeping your window open in order to transfer the file.

After the transfer is complete, you will see the message "transfer completed!" You can now safely close your browser window. Everything is streamed from source to destination through our service, and no file contents are recorded on our servers.

I Owe You Firebug

This is fore all the folks out there doing web development. "My Site looks ugly on Firefox", "My site is damn slow, take ages to load", "Ohh a script error :( ", If those are questions in your mind, then you are just reading perfect article. The ultimate solution for your problem is "Firebug".





Although Bugs are nothing but a headache for developers, this bug saves your ass. :) No doubt that "Firebug" is the most powerful Web Development Add-on for Firefox and Chrome. Although the Firebug Lite version (For Google Chrome) has significant less amount of capabilities, it has the ability of solving lots of trouble you may come across in web development.


Most of us face problems when designing HTML layouts of complex web pages. Alignment mismatches, styles issues and uri location issues are common among them. All you need is Firebug. You can perform many tasks using firebug except above mentioned issue.


Main tasks of Firebug are;
  • Letting you view and edit the HTML live 
  • Firebug's CSS tabs tell you everything, about the styles in your web pages 
  • Firebug's Net tab is monitoring all your network utilization. 
  • Debug any Javascript including Ajax calls to server. 
  • Executing JavaScripts live (on the fly) 
  • Find errors in your pages and saves your time

Hack an Ikea Low-budget Bedside Lamp

Simple and cheap DIY project. Based on IKEA RATIONELL VARIERA, a lamp socket and a plastic folder (0,70€). To install the socket there`s only a simple cutter needed. The plastic folder covers the front to make the light smooth and the bulb invisible. The light is much stronger than it seems on the pictures.
